"Moose Ridge course is asgood as it gets in Metro Detroit.  There are many golf courses in Michigan that promote themselves as "up north" courses.  I've come to the understanding that a lot of courses down here like to think their course simulates the rustic feel and tricky test of golf that most courses up north offer. Easiest way to find us...

Exit 55 off US 23 (2 exits South of I 96) Silverlake Road.  Moose Ridge sign at exit and at each of two bends in the road .  Follow the pavement 2 miles East as the paved road changes from Silverlake Road to Silverside Drive and finally to Doane Road.  The golf course will be on your left at 11801 Doane Road. 

Or

Follow Ten Mile Road west thru South Lyon until it dead ends at Rushton (three-way blinking stop light).  Turn right (North) on Rushton and stay on the pavement as it bends to the left after 1/4 mile and becomes Doane Road.  The golf course will be on your right after about 1/4 mile.
